You guys know I love to try new makeup products and experiment with my look from time to time, so I’m always on the lookout for the latest and greatest products that are generating buzz.
All I have to say is that Thrive Causemetics might just be the G.O.A.T. for when I want to have a touch of glam in under 5 minutes! I was given the opportunity to try a few Thrive Causemetics best-sellers and I must say that these products are on point!
A little bit of background…
Thrive Causemetics was founded by makeup artist and product developer, Karissa Bodnar, after she lost her friend to cancer. Thrive Causemetics is a beauty brand and philosophy that goes beyond skin deep by empowering women.
What I found to be most incredible about this company is that for every product you purchase, they donate to help a woman thrive. They believe changing the world starts with a single ingredient, and that’s why the products are vegan, with 100% cruelty-free formulas.
My favorite product is the Instant Brow Fix Semi-Permanent Eyebrow Gel because it gives my brows the volume that I love. A few quick strokes and I was done. My brows didn’t feel heavy and most importantly they looked thick, full & natural. And over time the semi-permanent brow gel will tint my brows just like microblading but without the needles!
I was really hesitant to try the Lip Filler Long-Wearing + Plumping Lip Liner because it is common for long wear lip products to be extremely drying, but I was pleasantly surprised that this formula kept my lips hydrated. Although the liner did last most of the day, I did not notice a huge plumping of my lips, it was more subtle.
I also received the Brilliant Eye Brightener in shade Racquel, which has a soft silver shimmer. This has a cream to powder formula which glides on smoothly and leaves minimal fall-out. It took about 60 seconds to dry into a powder. I personally do not wear silver because my undertones are warm/golden/yellow. However, the color is universally flattering and did not fade or crease at all–turns out I look beautiful in silver!
Being that I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and prefer ergonomic products from time to time, I found that the Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner is lightweight and easy to grip. I was able to create a beautiful cat eye with this liner. The built-in sharpener and smudger are also a plus. This is extremely convenient when traveling. I am totally impressed that it contains nourishing ingredients like shea butter, hyaluronic acid that keep your lids healthy and hydrated.
What I liked most about the Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara is that it did not clump and my lashes stayed separated, even after putting on a few layers, which is not needed but I love a full lash look. My lashes looked so long and full; it was incredible. But most importantly they still looked natural. This mascara is infused with shea butter and castor seed oil, to condition lashes during wear. So, it is a Win/Win.
Overall, I loved these products. I’m here for a brand that gives back, and the prices are super affordable-- the Mascara is $24, and the whole line ranges from $16 to $62. These products made me feel good-- they’re effective, kind to my skin and I love that Thrive Causemetics is committed to supporting women.
