Seriously, using tumeric as an exfoliating agent will brighten your skin tone and really make you look like you are glowing. After using tumeric for just a short time, it will look like you have a flashlight following you around! To optimize your skin's health, exfoliate with tumeric once or twice a week.
You can mix tumeric down with honey, milk, aloe juice, water, and many other gentle carriers. For exfoliating, you will want to he heavier on the carrier. For example, if you are using water, you are not looking to make a paste as would for a masking application. To exfoliate, you want to be able to easily and smoothly abrade the skin's surface without too much friction. So, in general, thinner is a better consistency for the exfoliating application.
Gently apply the loose misture to your face in small circular motions. Give yourself a light massage; always taking care to work in gentle upward motions. Rinse thoroughly, with warm to cool water. Make sure you do a follow up cleanse, or two to remove any granules of the spice left behine. Finish with toning and moisturizing.

A couple of things to remember when using tumeric:
Since tumeric can slow down hair growth, avoid your eyebrows and eyelashes asmuch as possible when eaxfoliating and masking with tumeric or recipes that include tumeric on the ingredient list.
